Pyongyang, October 18 (KCNA) — Premier soccer matches are going on here as part of the DPRK Championships.
On Thursday, the Rimyongsu Team edged out the Wolmido Team 1:0 and the Amnokgang Team beat the Hwaebul Team 2:1 in the men’s event.
In the women’s event, the April 25 Team defeated the Ponghwasan Team 4:3, the Myohyangsan Team beat the Kalmaegi Team 3:1 and the Sobaeksu Team trounced the Chongchongang Team 3:1.
On Wednesday, the April 25 Team overpowered the Myohyangsan Team 5:0 and the Team of the Ministry of Light Industry drew with the Pyongyang Team at 1:1 in the men’s event.
In the women’s event, the Mangyongbong Team beat the Amnokgang Team 2:1 and the Rimyongsu Team defeated the Hwangryongsan Team 2:0.
Vince la SudCorea, 2-1, il derby che potrà risultare decisivo per l’assegnazione del titolo asiatico di categori U19 femminile.

In this regard, KCNA had an interview with Pak Kwang Rim, a department director of the Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports.
Pak: The current championships mark an important occasion in promoting the development of the nation’s sports technique and keying up the social interest in sports.
For their success, the ministry appointed competent persons the supervisors and organized training courses for them to strictly abide by the game rules and regulations set by the international federations for each event.
Also ministry officials carefully examined stadiums and gymnasiums as well as the lists of players so that no wrong one can take part in the championships.

Pak: The championships deal with more than 100 categories in tens of events.
At present, competitions take place in more than 20 events, including football.
The male and female footballers of the April 25 Sports Team are leading the premier soccer league matches held at the Kim Il Sung Stadium.

In the acrobatic gymnastic event, the Ministry of Commerce Sports Team drew attention of spectators by smoothly performing skillful movements.

On Saturday, the Amnokgang Team beat the Sobaeksu Team 2:0 and the Myohyangsan Team defeated the Rimyongsu Team 1:0 in the women’s event.
On Sunday, the match between the Myohyangsan Team and the Rimyongsu Team ended with no goal and the Hwaebul Team drew with the Ministry of Light Industry Team at 1:1 in the men’s event.
In the women’s event the April 25 Team overpowered the Pyongyang Team 3:0, the Wolmido Team edged out the Mangyongbong Team 1:0 and the Ponghwasan Team beat the Hwangryongsan Team 3:1. -0-
Bastava un punto e ne sono arrivati tre al termine di una partita autoritaria contro la Cina.
I coreani calano gli assi e a decidere l’incontro sono le reti di Kim Ju-Song all’ultimo minuto del primo tempo e, nel secondo tempo, di Jong Il-Gwan (51) e Pak Kwang-Ryong (63).
Arriva quindi l’oro per i ragazzi di Yun Jong-Su che destano ottima impressione in vista dei prossimi Campionati Asiatici under-22.
Per le avversarie ottimo risultato anche per la SudCorea, argento, con una sorta di “nazionale B”, e Giappone, bronzo, con tutti giocatori eleggibili per le Olimpiadi 2016, una scelta coraggiosa, se confrontata con le under-23 avversarie.
