Premier Soccer League Matches Begin in DPRK

Pyongyang, July 25 (KCNA) — The premier soccer league matches began in the DPRK to mark the 60th anniversary of the victory in the Fatherland Liberation War. They are to last from July 25 to August 3.
The competing teams include men’s premier soccer teams of April 25, Hwaebul, Rimyongsu and Amnokgang and women’s premier soccer teams of April 25, Sobaeksu, Ponghwasan, Myohyangsan, Taesongsan.
There were matches between the April 25 and Myohyangsan teams and between the Sobaeksu and Taesongsan teams in the soccer ground of the Chobyong Sports Team on Thursday.
The April 25 team beat its rival 3:0 and the Sobaeksu team its rival 2:1.
The matches go on.
