Pyongyang, April 28 (KCNA) — Universities of physical education are to be established in 6 provinces of the DPRK.
According to Kim Myong Su, a department director of the Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports, the universities will be established in Chongjin, North Hamgyong Province, Hyesan, Ryanggang Province, Kanggye, Jagang Province, Phyongsong, South Phyongan Province, Haeju, South Hwanghae Province and Wonsan, Kangwon Province.
There already exist Korea University of Physical Education in Pyongyang, Hamhung University of Physical Education in South Hamgyong Province, Sinuiju University of Physical Education in North Phyongan Province and Sariwon University of Physical Education in North Hwanghae Province.
The establishment of new universities will contribute to positively developing local physical culture.
Now preparations for their establishment are made in related provinces. -0-
