Pyongyang, May 2 (KCNA) — Rodong Sinmun Saturday editorially calls upon all the people to more dynamically advance toward the finish line for building a sports power house full of conviction of certain victory and optimism.

The eye-catching achievements made in the sports field in recent years, a great enthusiasm for sporting running high across the country and the appearance of lots of modern sports and cultural facilities in Pyongyang and other parts of the country prove that the party’s plan for building a sports power house is being translated into realities.
The sportspersons and other people should more dynamically advance toward the finish line for building a sports power house, bearing in mind the slogan “Let us rush forward towards the finish line of building a sports power in the revolutionary spirit of Paektu!” put up by the party.
All sportspersons should continue creating the admirable myth of sports of heroic Korea at international games by devoting all their wisdom and energies in the revolutionary spirit of Paektu, the spirit of the blizzards of Paektu.
