AFC “C” License Award Coaching Course in DPRK

Pyongyang, October 4 (KCNA) — The AFC (Asian Football Confederation) “C” license award coaching course was recently held in Wonsan City, Kangwon Province of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.
Attending it were 20-odd coaches of sports teams and football instructors of city and county juvenile sports schools in the province.
The course, divided into theoretical and practical sections, was officiated by Kim Yong Gil, a lecturer of the AFC.
Theoretical section dealt with such matters as the features of physical growth of juveniles, training guidance process and contents, requirements for training guidance, and understanding of tactics.
The practical section focused on problems arising in putting the training guidance of coaches and instructors on a scientific basis, such as dribbling, shooting, and one to one and two to two defense.
Earlier, in April and June there were similar courses in Pyongyang and Ryanggang Province.
