DPRK Women’s Football Team Is Strongest in East Asia: FIFA

Pyongyang, November 11 (KCNA) — Some days ago, FIFA posted an article titled “October Review of Int’l Women’s Football” on its website, in which it praised the DPRK women’s football team as the strongest in East Asia.
The article said the DPRK women’s football team won the first place in the 6th East Asian Games held in Tianjin, China without a single goal allowed for its rivals.
The team led by chief coach Kim Kwang Min recorded 3 wins in the league matches of four U-23 women’s football teams, thus consolidating its position as one of the strongest teams in East Asia, the article said, and continued:
As announced by FIFA, the DPRK women’s team showed its high ability in the 6th East Asian Games, admired by experts and fans.
The DPRK team beat its Chinese team 1:0, China’s Taipei team 7:0 and the Japanese team 2:0, scoring 10 goals in total.
It also won the 2013 East Asian Cup in July.
