Men’s Soccer Finals of National Sports Contest of Workers Held
Pyongyang, August 28 (KCNA) — The men’s soccer finals of the national sports contest of workers took place at
Kim Il Sung Stadium on Wednesday.
The match was held between the teams of South and North Hamgyong provinces.
The South Hamgyong provincial team beat the North Hwanghae provincial team 2:1 and the North Hamgyong provincial team beat the North Phyongan provincial team 1:0 at the semi-finals after group league matches.
The finals were sharp from the beginning.
The players of different jobs and ages fully displayed high spirit and techniques, showing off their skills.
At the match the South Hamgyong provincial team beat its rival 2:1 to win the title at the men’s soccer event.
